I arrive ahead of time, sets up my illustration station, and am ready to start as guests arrive. Each guest is photographed quickly in a natural pose, then illustrated digitally on iPad in Revastique’s signature style while the event continues around them.

Live Event Illustration

Choose between two distinct live illustration styles: a classic Portrait focusing on each guest’s face and expression, or a Half-length sketch that captures their outfit and overall presence in a more fashion-forward, editorial way.

My live illustration rate is:

● Each additional hour: NZD $300
● Minimum booking: 2 hours
● Maximum: 5 hours.**

Illustrated Place Cards turn every seat into a tiny work of art, pairing each guest’s name with a custom miniature portrait they’ll want to take home and keep. Hand-drawn in my studio, carefully wrapped, and delivered to your door, they add a personal touch to your tables while doubling as thoughtful gifts and lasting mementos.

  • 100 × 148 mm (4 × 6 inch) original illustration, drawn live on-site as your celebration unfolds.
  • Everything is taken care of — I bring all materials so you can simply enjoy the moment.

  • Each artwork is presented in a protective sleeve or envelope, ready to gift or take home safely.

What types of events is live illustration best suited to?

Live illustration works beautifully at any social or professional gathering where guests are mingling and relaxed — corporate functions, hen's parties, birthday parties, baby showers, brand activations, product launches, charity balls, fashion shows, retail pop-ups, and more.

How many portraits can you complete at an event?

Each portrait takes around 10 minutes, which allows for up to 6 guests to be illustrated per hour. For a 3-hour corporate event, this usually means approximately 18 individual portraits. If you are planning for a larger guest list, session length can be extended — just mention this when you enquire.

Can live illustration be incorporated into a brand's visual identity or event theme?

Yes. For brand activations, product launches, and corporate events, I'm happy to discuss incorporating brand colours, themed elements, or custom illustration backdrops into the experience on request.

Is live illustration suitable for outdoor events?

Yes, with a sheltered setup. I will advise on requirements at booking depending on your venue and conditions.

Do you travel outside Auckland?

I'm based in Auckland and covers events across the Auckland region. Travel to other
parts of New Zealand can be arranged — get in touch for a quote including travel costs.

What Is The Payment Process?

Once your booking details are confirmed, I’ll send an invoice and request a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure the date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the event.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, events must be cancelled at least 30 days before the event date to be eligible for a refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

Does everyone get a sketch?

As a live event illustrator, I do my best to draw as many guests as possible during the event. However, depending on the number of attendees and timing, I may not be able to sketch everyone.

Additional portraits can be completed in my studio after the event and then posted to you. The price for an extra post-event sketch is NZD $30 per guest.
